The American Society for

Reproductive Immunology

Committee Description

The Program Committee consists of a minimum of six members: at least three elected by the ASRI membership and three appointed by Council, all serving staggered three-year terms. Members are selected to represent a diversity of institutions and geographic regions. The Chair serves as a non-voting member of Council.

This committee is responsible for planning and implementing a scientific program at the ASRI Annual Meeting that represents the full breadth of the reproductive immunology field, subject to approval by Council.

The role of the committee is to:

  • Plan and implement the scientific program for each ASRI Annual Meeting, ensuring content that reflects the full scope of reproductive immunology;
  • Select Distinguished Lecturers and organize Major Symposia;
  • Develop special sessions and workshops that address emerging topics and the needs of the membership; and
  • Establish and oversee topic categories for abstract submissions

Committee Mission

The Program Committee serves as the scientific steward of the ASRI Annual Meeting, ensuring that each year's program is rigorous, inclusive, and reflective of the evolving landscape of reproductive immunology.

The committee will:

  1. Curate Scientific Excellence — Identify and invite leading voices in reproductive immunology to present as Distinguished Lecturers and symposium speakers, while ensuring that scientists at a variety of career stages are represented throughout the program; and
  2. Shape the Meeting Experience — Design a cohesive and engaging Annual Meeting program — spanning major symposia, special sessions, workshops, and abstract presentations — that advances scientific exchange and serves the breadth of the ASRI membership.
